Eppure, 153 milioni di persone soffrono ancora di grave insicurezza alimentare. <\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>La povert\u00e0 rurale \u00e8 dovuta alla mancanza di mezzi di produzione, alle limitate prospettive economiche e al basso livello di istruzione e qualificazione.<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Ma la povert\u00e0 \u00e8 anche il risultato di eventi meno controllabili, come i cattivi raccolti, una malattia improvvisa o gli eventi climatici avversi. <\/strong><strong>Le zone rurali sono particolarmente vulnerabili agli shock climatici, come siccit\u00e0 e inondazioni, che distruggono i raccolti e i mezzi di sussistenza.<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Sostenere l&#8217;agricoltura sostenibile e diversificare sviluppo rurale in Burkina Faso, Togo e Ciad, Morija mira a implementare infrastrutture volte a migliorare la salute, ridurre la povert\u00e0 e l&#8217;insicurezza alimentare e proteggere l&#8217;ambiente, ma anche a fornire alle popolazioni le competenze e gli strumenti necessari per lo sviluppo della loro comunit\u00e0.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u2022 Il <strong>64%<\/strong> della popolazione vive in zone rurali nei nostri 4 paesi di intervento (Burkina Faso, Togo, Ciad, Camerun).<br>\u2022 In Burkina Faso, il settore rurale occupa l&#8217;<strong>86%<\/strong> della popolazione e contribuisce per quasi il <strong>40%<\/strong> all&#8217;economia nazionale.<br>\u2022 In Togo, si stima che il degrado del suolo colpisca circa l&#8217;<strong>85%<\/strong> dei terreni coltivabili.<br>\u2022 In Ciad, l&#8217;agricoltura e l&#8217;allevamento occupano circa il <strong>73%<\/strong> della popolazione attiva<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u2022 <strong>Il nostro obiettivo:<\/strong> ridurre la malnutrizione in modo sostenibile garantendo la sicurezza alimentare, promuovendo al contempo lo sviluppo economico
