In unseren Einsatzl\u00e4ndern ist etwa jedes f\u00fcnfte Kind betroffen \u2013 eine der h\u00e4ufigsten Ursachen f\u00fcr Kindersterblichkeit.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Mangelern\u00e4hrung beeintr\u00e4chtigt sowohl die k\u00f6rperliche als auch die geistige Entwicklung und schw\u00e4cht das Immunsystem der Kinder, wodurch sie deutlich anf\u00e4lliger f\u00fcr Krankheiten werden. Diese ohnehin besorgniserregende Situation versch\u00e4rft sich zus\u00e4tzlich durch wiederkehrende Nahrungsmittelkrisen, Konflikte und die Folgen des Klimawandels. D\u00e9sir\u00e9e hat immer davon getr\u00e4umt, andere zu pflegen, ein Traum, den sie seit ihrer Kindheit hegte. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Heute leitet sie kompetent und mit Mitgef\u00fchl und stellt sich t\u00e4glich den Herausforderungen der Unterern\u00e4hrung. \u201eUnterern\u00e4hrung ist nicht nur eine Frage der Nahrung, sondern auch der Pflege und moralischen Unterst\u00fctzung\u201c, sagt sie. \u201eAlle Krankheiten sind schwer zu behandeln, besonders wenn sie sich h\u00e4ufen. Die Kinder, die uns vorgestellt werden, sind oft in einem geschw\u00e4chten Zustand.
